Destination Information - Terms & Conditions

You are requested to go through the below points in detail. Once you confirm your reservation with us, we understand that you agree upon all the points mentioned and NO requests / complaints shall be entertained against the same.

Important Points I Dos & Don'ts while travelling to Islands:

  • Hotel check out time (mostly) at all the places is between 0700 hrs.to 0900 hrs. (Late checkout is subject to availability or at extra cost).
  • During the trip, Please hold the Identity Card at the Airport, Ferry Jetty, Hotels etc. which will help the people to identify you all the time.
  • Due to limit connectivity, only BSNL and Airtel sim cards will function properly in the islands.
  • Islands are plastic free zone and strictly follow 'do not litter'.
  • Majorly spoken languages are Hindi, English, Bangla & Tamil.
  • It is advisable to follow the instruction by tour manager on time to time.
  • The vehicles are not used on disposal basis. The cab will drop you to the sightseeing points & take you back at given timing time to time & guest will have to follow that.
  • Ferry sailing is subject to weather conditions. Alternate arrangements will be made in case sailing does not take place due to bad weather or load restriction. Hotels do not provide any refund if your rooms are cancelled due to non-sailing caused by bad weather or any technical issues or any governmental issues. We can arrange your alternative accommodation if you are ready to pay for the same.
  • We will not be responsible for refunding any amount due to non-sailing of Ferry.
  • No refund shall be given for unutilized services.
  • In case of any unprecedented hike in hotel charges or other service charges, the same will be levied extra. If the ferry is missed due to late coming at harbor then another ferry will be arranged on next schedule timing on the same day if available on full ticket fare if party agrees to pay & if the seats are available. Otherwise there is no option to reach Havelock & Neil Island & we are not responsible in any way for refund of unused services or alternative arrangement on the same price for your hotels booked over there.
  • Due to natural calamity or any govt. issues, if some points remain close then we will not be responsible for any refund as everything is arranged before the trip start & part of the package is not breakable for refund particular part cost. Instead we will arrange alternative trip if possible for the same price booked; otherwise extra charges will be collected directly to arrange that trip.
  • Carrying any under-water jewels (corals / sea shell etc.) is a punishable offence. Also, it is mandatory to take original bills of shopping as security person may ask for it during check-in at the Veer Savarkar airport.
  • City tour points, Red skin / Jolly buoy &Baratang Island are closed on Mondays.
  • North Island & Ross Island is closed on Wednesday.
  • It is mandatory to follow all instructions given by our driver while you drive through Baratang Island. Guests are requested to carry mosquito repellents, first aid kit with them. As due to lack of resources it might not be possible to arrange for a first-aid immediately. Management is not responsible for any bad quality of photographs or videos during under water activity. Hotels / resorts at the islands may not match the expectation of similar star category of hotels / resorts at other conventional holiday destinations in India.

Important Points I Dos & Don'ts while travelling to Havelock Island:

  • As Havelock island is only reachable through ferry (via sea), it is very important to follow timing instructions given by your tour manager.
  • Only a few resources are available at Havelock Island. We would like to remind our guests that they have come to the Islands to enjoy its serene beauty, hence we request them to not to complain about things which are not available. (Though all basic amenities are available).
  • Trip to elephant beach though speed boat is subject to first come first serve basis and all guests are requested to follow all safety instructions given by boat association people.
  • If Elephant beach is not operational due to bad weather then guest shall be taken to lighthouse beach which is smaller than the Elephant beach at same cost.
  • If association announces closure of Elephant beach due to bad weather and tickets had been purchased, there will be no refund of any amount.
  • Guests, if not booking watersports activities through us, even though they are requested to keep us posted on the same so that in case of any emergency, our local representative will be there to help your guest.
  • There are limited numbers of vehicles available at Havelock Island. So, vehicle at the island might not match the expectation same as vehicles available at Port Blair. There is only 01 pure vegetarian restaurant. Though, there are lots of restaurants serving multi-cuisine (veg — non veg both). Fish cooked in banana leaf is a must try.
  • Two wheelers can be hired to explore the island at extra cost.

Important Points | Dos & Don'ts while travelling to Neil Island:

  • Neil Island is less untouched and developed in comparison to Port Blair OR Havelock Island.
  • As Neil Island is only reachable through ferry (via sea), it is very important to follow timing instructions given by your tour manager.
  • Most of the hotels serve limited breakfast and fixed dinner menu (if guest has chosen MAP plan).
  • Natural bridge is strictly subject to low tides condition. If guest insist to visit the place even after non-favorable weather condition, it will be purely on their own risk. Our local guide shall not follow them to the place and they will be on their own.
