Hotel Pickup Instructions

The hotels that we give in our itinearies are indicative . When you book a package, depending on the availability we would be confirming the hotel that is either mentioned or is the best alternative in that category.

In many parts of Uttarakhand we cannot classify hotels uniformly as 3, 4 or 5 stars. Hence to give you a comparitive idea we classify hotels as Superior, Deluxe or Luxury. The interpretation is as follows

• Superior - promises you basic comfort, expect clean and affordable living spaces, somewhat similar to 2 or 3 star properties.
• Deluxe - these properties offer much more that could be strategic location and views and a larger campus or better amenities. These are comparable in some ways to 4 star hotel products
• Luxury - these properties would be highly rated for their experiential stays, customer service and the best in luxury in this area. Not many properties will qualify in this category but the few there are we would always include in our itinearies  

Also please note that in many cases due to steep inclines or terrain the vehicle may not be able to reach the hotel doorsteps, especially in higher Himalayas. We would request you to check with us on case to case basis, to get a good understanding of the situation.

Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrive at Bhimtal

• Arrive at Bhimtal and check-in at your resort
• Relax admiring view of hills and lakes from your resort
• Stroll by the lake side or take a boat ride 

Day 02 - Trip to the Goljiu Temple at Ghorakhal

• Post your breakfast take a road trip to the highest point on mountain to Golu Devta temple at Ghorakhal, the local deity and patron God of Kumaon region.
• Aquaint yourself with the Kumaoni temple style and the local culture. Golu Devta is worshipped as a God of Justice and you will find thousands of letters of appeal written to Golu Devta, seeking justice at his court. Devotes present a bell upon receiving justice and hence you will find thousands of small and big bells on this temple premises
• On way back enjoy a coffee or some cool shakes at the much popular i-Heart Cafe. This is ever popular place for pizzas, burgers or some chocolate brownies
• After a lovely day driving around and picnicing in the hills, you can take a relaxed walk around the lake

Day 03 - Lake Hopping

• Bhimtal is part of the lake district of Nainital. There are plentiful of lakes to be explored. Today is the day to hop from one lake to another
• First we head to Sattal, where enroute, you can catch some instagram moments and lovely pics at Nal Damyanti Tal. 
• At Sattal, if you can walk a wooded trail and spend peaceful time by the lakeside. Or you can be adventureous and take a swim in the lake or just kayak around. You could plan your lunch at Sattal at eateries by the lakeside.
• Now is the time to drive to the lake with 9 edges and hence called Naukuchiyatal. Folklore mentions no one can see 9 corners of this lake at one sight. Enjoy your post lunch time at this pristine lake, with numerous water sports activities to keep you busy if you like.

Day 4 - Fly like a bird, or just relax and check out

• Before you say goodbye to Bhimtal, maybe you want to challenge yourself and take a shot at Paragliding. The launch points are at vicinity and trained instructors swoop down with you in tandem flights, down the cliffs.
• If you have onwards journey planned, you can just enjoy a relaxed breakfast and check out in comfort to move to your next destination.
