Itinerary

Suggested itinerary

Please note, this is a suggested itinerary for a 3 Night / 4 Day trip to Nainital, ex Delhi. However you have the vehicle on disposal and can utilise the same any alterations to this itinerary or to follow your own itinerary for Nainital , ex- Delhi.

Once in Nainital, the vehicle is available for use on disposal with an limit of 150 Km per day for local use.

Day 01 - Pick Up from Delhi & Arrive at Nainital - Approx 325 km / 7 hrs drive

• Pick up from Delhi Airport, Railway Station or your hotel in Delhi & drive to Nainital
• Arrive at Nainital, check into your hotel
• Take a stroll to the town and make an auspicious begining by visiting the Naina Devi Temple
• Spend your evening browsing the Mall road & the Tibetian market 
• Get plentiful of selfies and pics around Naini Lake

Day 02 - Day trip to China Peak, Pangot & Vinayak

• Try having an early breakfast so that you can enjoy a drive through China Peak & Pangot Area
• Get a stunning view of Himalayas enroute
• You can plan a trek to China Peak top or explore the Pangot area for birds if you like birdwatching
• Enjoy a local Pahadi cuisine lunch at Pangot
• After spending most of the day exploring the mountains, return to your resort for some rest.
• In the evening, stroll the Mall Road

Day 03 - Tiffin Top, Raj Bhawan, Naini Lake, Sunset Point

• Today we explore Nainital and the best way to explore any hill station is by walking on foot.
• After an early breakfast and head up the DSB college road Sherwood College and then Tiffin Top. Tiffin Top is a bit streneous but a rewarding trek, from where you get the most stunning views of entire Nainital town, Himalayas and the lake. Perhaps the best selfie point.
• As you climb down from Tiffin Top, you can walk up to Raj Bhawan and marvel at one of the best colonial architecture you would have seen in India.
• Head down to the town and relax in one of the lakeside cafes and later indulge in a round of boating on Naini Lake.
• In the evening, drive up to Hanuman Gadi temple, to get a glimpse of mesmerising sunset.

Day 04 - Check out & onward journey

• If you have time, before you exit Nainital you could squeeze in the cable car ride to Snow View or check out the Nainital Zoo
• On your way back you could even stop by the Cave Garden and Waterfalls
• Finally time to say goodbye to Nainital with lots of sweet memories
